About Dr Leonard

Celine Leonard has been practicing Chinese medicine since 1987 and has specialised in the treatment of gynaecological disorders since the late 90s. She has been associated with the Merrion Fertility Centre since 2002. She has lectured for more than 20 years to undergraduates and postgraduates both in Ireland and Europe, including at the Rothenburg Kongress of Chinese Medicine. Celine has acted as external examiner for the postgraduate herb course in CICM, Reading, and for the MSC herbal course in the Northern College of Acupuncture, York. She has both taught a course and set an exam for those training in the use of CM in reproductive medicine for VIRM (Verein Integrativer Reproduckttinsmedizin), the professional association for those working in the field in Switzerland. She is passionate about the ways in which the skilled use of the traditional Chinese medicine disease categories of cycle disorders can increase our effectiveness in practice.

Dr Leonard is currently completing a clinical textbook on the treatment of gynaecological disorders and infertility with CHM and acupuncture in collaboration with Professor Yuning Wu to be published shortly by the Journal of Chinese Medicine.
